SCOTLAND CULTURAL TOURS

Amazing Castles & Rich History

Scotland has a very rich history and the proud Scots are happy to tell about it. Towering spiers, thick stone walls and a dramatic setting, just like a castle,

you will find it in Scotland.

Scotland is bursting with fascinating castles to visit. From beautiful urban landmarks to mysterious ruins. From dilapidated country houses to castles still inhabited by the royal family.

In addition to the cultural capital Edinburgh, Scotland has many cultural highlights. It is bursting all over the country with museums and information centers. The cultural traveler does not get bored. The DUKE is happy to give tips about the most beautiful routes.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CASTLES

Castles, castles and more castles; Scotland is full of it. In Aberdeenshire alone there are more than 260 castles and there is a special castle route to follow. Some castles are still inhabited and others are open only to visitors. For example, Balmoral Castle can be visited all year round, unless the British Royals use it themselves. No visit to Scotland is complete without a visit to a castle. Which one do you want to visit anyway during your trip?

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RUINS

Since most castles were not built as luxury palaces, but to protect the population, it is not surprising that there are many ruins. Fortunately, most places are well maintained, so that we can now enjoy them and learn a lot about the history. If you like history then visiting these places is more than worth it. My personal favorites are listed above.
